MATCHLESS ABSAF G85 CS
ABSAF, in full the Appingedammer BSA Factory, has acquired an international reputation with what we can best describe as improved replicas of the already illustrious 500 cc BSA Gold Star single-cylinder OHV.
Meanwhile, ABSAF has broadened its range with an equally illustrious Matchless single burner.
ABSAF, whose Gold Star blocks are almost mandatory in international classic racing for those who want to race with BSA's, produces the Matchless block in the size that the original factory in Plumstead also supplied, 500 cc, but also in a size more, namely a 600 cc.At Matchless the 500 cc model was called the G80CS and in its latest version the G85CS and ABSAF has of course kept those names, although that the 600 cc engine is called G85CS here.
